Vintage Signed OOAK Quirky Patterned Large Folk Art Pottery Ceramic Pitcher Jug
Vintage signed large quirky patterned art pottery pitcher. Patterned with quirky hand drawn patterns scratched into the black glaze covering the base, including mountains, a heron, a hot air ballon, a cross and various geometric designs.
Signed and dated on base by artist "Isabel 93". Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a hand made piece and has some inconsistencies in the glaze, letting the underlying brown clay show through the pale grey tone - this was a result of production not later damage, and is part of the charm of handmade folk art styles. Measurements: 10 3/4" x 7" x 5 1/2.
