VINTAGE PAIR OF FREEMAN McFARLIN LARGE EARED RABBIT FIGURINES, ORIGINAL LABEL

Freeman McFarlin Portteries was established in Southern California and established a thriving business producing animal figurines, among other items. This rabbit pair is a fine example of their work, which has become highly sought after since the cessation of production.

This is a large pair of long eared rabbits, one in a laying pose and the other in a seated pose. The laying rabbit still bears the original company paper label, and both pieces have the faint impressed Anthony markings under their bases. The seated rabbit is quite impressive at 10 1/2" tall by about 6 1/4" long.

The reclining bunny is 6 1/4" tall by 7 1/2" long. The pair is well modeled and of the typical style for which Freeman McFarlin is known.
