Vintage Casa Pupo Fruit Topiary Art Pottery Lamp White Spain 16 T 50s-60s
Height: 30 Inches tall to top of harp, 24 tall to top of light socket, 16 tall from base to top of topiary; base of topiary is approximately 5.5 Round; Base: 6 Inches square. Vintage large mid century Casa Pupo style white ceramic table lamp feature multitudes of fruits on a pedestal. Made in Spain one of the finest ceramicists operating in Manises, Spain. The lamp dates from the 1950s or 60s.
It is mounted to a wood base that does show an age crack at pedestal but does not distract from appearance. The fruit topiary pedestal sits down into a chippy metal base. I can not see any marking on the bottom because it is securely mounted. It is very decorative with only minor faults consistent with age. There are several broken leaves, which is noticeable only with a thorough inspection.
Last few photos show close ups. Works but wiring & plug is old. Beautifully detailed glazed ceramic made in Spain. It displays very well, and it would make a great addition to a collection. From a smoke free home.
