Very rare Royal Doulton Art Deco pin tray with bather (V&A exhibition). Very rare Royal Doulton Art Deco pin tray with bather made for'the Sneyd Collieries & Brickworks Co. Burslem' that dates I would guess to the 1920's-30's. Depicted with a hand painted image over transfer of a bather at a pool, while edges are in relief to infer tiles and is boarded with a hand painted green band. This piece was loaned to the Victoria & Albert Museum for an exhibition of Doulton wares.
Factory marks and others to the back (V&A sticker covers Doulton mark) - See photos. 5" (12'5cm) L x 4" (10cm) D. Good, no issues to report. Please contact me before the invoice is paid.
