Van Briggle Leda & Swan, Art Pottery, Flower Frog, Nude Figural With Bowl, Nice

Leda & Swan is a lovely large nude flower frog & bowl in turquoise blue. The bowl measures 15 1/2 inches x 10 1/2 inches x 2 1/4 inches high. The nude flower frog measures approximately 9 inches tall x 10 inches x 7 inches. Marked on the bottom & with finisher's initials. I tried to date this piece and I believe it was made about 1969.

It is in good condition but'as is'. There are some noticeable surface scuffs and a rust colored ring in the bowl & on the bottom of the nude, view the photos. The bowl would have held water and real flowers would be placed into the holes. Please enlarge ALL 12 photos to make your own condition determinations on this item. A striking and beautiful piece for sure.
