It has the original label and is marked by the artist on the bottom of the vase. This was made in 2 pieces and pieced together before the glazing process. The clay method is called chattering where 2 different colored clay is thrown at the same time. This creates 2 separate colors and the ribbing texture. Has a mid century mod vibe to it.
First line (on right with smaller writing) Tokoname-yaki??? (ceramics of the Tokoname tradition). , is the name of the kiln, but translates as something like Hermitage of Revelation.
