Thorne Edwards Pottery Vase Signed Memphis Art Academy Mottled Brown 10.5 in. Featured in this listing is a tall pottery vase in mottled browns by Thorne Edwards, long time ceramic instructor at Memphis Academy of Art, later Memphis College of Art in Memphis TN from 1950's-1970's. Vase is about 10.5 tall and 3.5 wide diameter base with narrow neck and weighs almost 2 lbs. Piece is signed Edwards on the bottom and has artist mark on the side of the vase as well.
This item has been displayed. Item is in very good condition I do not see any chips, cracks or other condition issues. Vase was obtained decades ago by a colleague at the Art Academy. Please view my pictures for features, details, contents and condition of this unique item.
