Tall Modern Hand Thrown Studio Art Pottery Vase, Signed, VG Cond. Large 11 Tall Abstract Modern Memphis Style Studio Art Pottery Vase, Signed, Very Good Condition. This listing is for an impressive handmade, hand-painted studio art pottery vase. The hand-crafted pinched pottery vase is dual signed, once by the potter on the side of the base "Fortunato"? And again on the bottom by the artist who painted the art pottery vase, "Julian".
Standing 11" tall on a 3 ½" diameter base, the studio pottery vase measures about 7 ½" at its widest point and is approximately 7" thick. The mouth is about 3" x 5 ½".
The condition of this vibrant colored quality ceramic vase is very good with no chips, no cracks, and no post-studio damage. A substantial piece of handcrafted pottery, it weighs just under 4 ½ lbs. The matte glaze is accented with incised areas and highlighted by raised areas of paint and glaze.
