Signed 1989 GERALD GEDEKES Hinged CERAMIC DOUBLE FACE WALL ART MASK Pottery
Unique highly detailed ceramic pottery sculpture by Pacific Northwest artist, Gerald Gedekes. Artwork has a hinged mask, opening up to reveal another face inside. It was a bit hard to photograph due to the lighting and picture setup here, but if you look closely, you can see iridescent glaze drippings throughout when the light hits them just right.
It is much more apparent in person, and this piece looks better in person as well (in my opinion)! The artwork is signed and dated on the side. Overall very nice cosmetic condition!
Very minor wear might have the slightest possibility of being found if you were to analyze very closely, but I did not see anything worth noting. The artwork is securely mounted to the plexiglass, and is ready to be hung now. This piece will take a spatial footprint of roughly 11" wide, 14" tall, and 3.5 deep.
