Scarce Art Deco California Pacific Pottery Oil Jar and Stand Jardiniere. A scarce Pacific pottery model #1113 oil jar jardinière planter with matching model #1117 ring ware stand. Oil jar is 11" tall x 17" diameter in gloss turquoise glaze and stand is 26" tall and 12.5" diameter with gloss burgundy glaze.
Total height together as pictured 35. From a collector of Pacific Pottery, the stand was original to a rare two piece bird bath and has also been misdescribed as a floor vase. From an old Pacific Pottery catalog posted online, the base was described as a jardinière stand. Fresh from a fine old Denver estate, and offered with No Reserve. Condition is excellent overall showing minor use and no chips, cracks, repairs, or other damage.
