Roseville MINT Art Pottery Imperial II VIBRANT GLAZES 472 Vase Blue-Gold-Gray Streaks. STUNNING Imperial 472 Vase in a glaze often used on Tourmaline.
The factory crayon mark on the bottom is 472 (not A472 that Tourmaline would be marked). This also appears to have been hand-thrown based on the ridges in the clay and bottom surface appearance Mark Bassett's great Roseville book notes that. II styles were hand thrown. Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or repairs, very little, if any, crazing. Sparkling clean inside and out.
Typical factory glaze pops and hand thrown base appearance, and a few crazing lines in the super high gloss areas of the glaze (see last photos). It stands about 7 1/2 inches tall, and about 6 inches at its widest.
