Heron Martinez Mendoza lived in Acatlan de Osorio in the Mexican state of Puebla. He passed on in 1990 but his work is highly sought after by collectors from around the world. Some consider Martinez to be the'Picasso' of the Mexican ceramic movement with a body of work exuding with creativity and mastery of the medium.
