Creamer was made by a French pottery located in the region of Quimper, and called HB Henriot. There is a hand-painted word Odetta on the base--along with the number 1146. Probably dates to the 1930s. Art Deco shape, with a geometrical handle.Although there are the usual irregularities in color, surface texture, and so forth that Quimper Odetta collectors expect, this piece is factory new. Beautiful hand-painted male and female faces, and a lush glazing. I'm Mark Bassett, author and collector of art deco pottery, as you can see by my other offerings this week. You can meet me on Facebook, where I frequently recommend the group Pottery Collector.
