Offering this rare highly collected Paul F. Demeter studio pottery vase form. Vase has a fascinating organic form, concave, almost like a deflated ball. A very interesting approach, and it just works here. Paul exhibited at the Syracuse Ceramic Nationals in 1964 from Lyndhurst, Ohio. Perfect condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. A large vase at 8 ½ inches high by 6 inches wide.

The reason I think this is that over the years I have acquired several pieces that had the same cloth tape on the bottom with the artist's name printed in the same style (looks like the same person). I have a Stephen Polchert vase with the same tape that came from there. Demeter vase comes from a studio pottery collection that includes Howard Kottler, Frans Wildenhain, Laura Andreson, Betty Feves and many others, all items I have collected in my travels over the years. Recent health issues have compelled me to find new homes for much of this art that has given me so much joy.
