Organic modern studio pottery ceramic Pillow Vase KK mark
An organic studio pottery ceramic Pillow Vase KK mark. For your consideration is this interesting large organic ceramic pillow shaped vase. Brown glazed sections have a rough, matte finish while the dark blue sections are smooth/glossier. The circles tend to be rougher as well.
Excellent condition, no damage, cracks or repairs. It has an impressed KK mark.
A fellow ebayer said this was one of Keith Gilbert's (UK) pieces based on his backwards KK mark. The mark is also very similar to the backwards KK used by the American potter Karen Karnes. Gilbert's daughter said her mother said jt was not her father's work. So please see pictures and make your own determination.
If I can definitively say who made it, I will update the listing accordingly. 10.75" long x 8.75" high x 4.5 at widest at base. Top opening is somewhat narrower. It weighs 5 lb 12 oz unpacked.
So will weigh about 7 lbs packed safely (double boxed).
