Mid Century Modern Aldo Londi Seta Italian Ceramic Vase Gold & Black 10

Bitossi Seta vase ceramic black and gold. Tapered vase from Aldo Londi's Seta (Silk) series. The rim is glazed with a gold band and the body is carved with an intricate pattern of textured black Stripes highlighted by gold.

Vase is in excellent condition. I have just about gone cross Eyed trying to identify any chips or cracks due to the design. There are a few tiny flea marks which I have shown in the pictures. The gold, which is hand painted, is intact for the most part. Due to the design of the vase and the way they painted it is hard to tell if any gold flaked off or if that is the design. It's a stunning piece. It measures 10 inches tall and is Tapered. The top is 5 inches wide and the bottom is 3 inches wide. In the texture you can see the drag marks of the tool the artist used to design the piece, which just adds to the beauty. If there are any imperfections, which I was not able to see, it certainly doesn't take away from the looks of this piece.
