It is beyond rare to find one is this condition and not ex-library. The collection is profusely illustrated with 48 black and white illustrations on 39 plates and 33 colour illustrations on 30 plates. The images are accompanied by detailed notes on each item including where appropriate sketched facsimiles of the signature. The contents are as follows. The Early life of R. The condition is extremely good for this title. A privately-owned, rather than ex-library, copy in its original slipcase. There are no library markings. A truly exceptional copy of this rare and highly collectable antiquarian book.It measures roughly 40 x 30 x 5 cm (height x width x thickness).
