Large Vintage HAUY POUIGO Ceramic Art Pottery Urn Ginger Jar Italian MCM 19.75. Very rare and beautiful black ceramic urn by the famous Italian artist Hauy Pouigo. The urn has a gilted lid with green finial and gilted metal foot. The foot is stamped with'Hauy Pouigo.

The pottery appears to be terracotta. Condition shown in the pictures. The pottery is in excellent condition with NO chips or cracks. The gilt has some slight wear as is expected from being decades old.

There are no dents or scratches in the metal. The green finial does have a crack, as shown in the pictures. The crack does not affect the usability of the lid. 19.75 tall with the lid. 13.25 tall without the lid. The top edge of the urn is 6.25 in diameter.
