John Shedd Studio Art Pottery Ceramic Vase 70s 80s Abstract Modernist Glaze

Stunning vase by master potter John Shedd. He received his BFA in Ceramics from Rockford College in Illinois, completed his graduate studies and received an MA in ceramics from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York in 1977. He founded Clayphernlia gallery in 1979.

John Shedd Designs are created in a 200 year old converted mill in historic Rocky Hill, New Jersey. The gallery, which adjoins a working studio, displays works made in the studio as well as selected works from other artists. The vase measures nearly 12" tall, 12" long and approximately 3 wide. It is in excellent condition with no damage I can find. Strong signature on the base.
