Intricate Handmade Borneo Art Pottery Ceramic Sculpture from Sarawak, East Malaysia. This is a one-of-a-kind, handmade sculpture from the island of Borneo. This is a large and intricate ceramic piece that has openings for a lamp light (light electronics not included). The finish is matte (unglazed) and has streaks of light-brown against beige. This is all handmade, and usually done in limited batches, so although there are similar sculptures, each are different. It has the words'Sarawak' etched in one of the sides. We saw the pride in their craftmanship and their wonderful work, and we knew we had to support them so they could continue to make more. Get due to protective packaging.
