Here you are viewing an absolutely gorgeous, selected, handmade, old and authentic ceramic tile of art, enamel, glazed, relief, refractory that was created the middle of the century by the famous Greek artist Panos Valsamakis, one of the most important ceramist , of the 20th century. Depicts the Virgin Mary with Christ (child), one of the few ceramics by Valsamakis with a religious theme.

It is crafted with the modern style, but with an imposing look and sweet seriousness, a feature of many old icons. It is signed lower right with the characteristic monogram of the artist in Greek. Dimensions: Without frame, 20.5 X 10.2 cm(or 8X 4"), with frame, 22.5 X 12 cm (or 8 7/8 X 4 6/8") and weight, 425 gr. It is in very good condition. From a smoke/pet free home.
