ANTIQUE AMERICAN FLAG POTTERY PITCHER 19th C July 4th PATRIOTIC FOLK ART

It is transfer decorated on 2 sides - with a multi color large flag theme on one side and a monochromatic sepia toned eagle on the other. I suspect this was made for the American Centennial of 1876 either in the US or England. There are no makers marks on this piece.

There is a small chip on the spout. This chip is glazed over. This might indicate it was damaged prior to its original firing.

It measures about 8" tall and 8" wide including the handle. It's a unique piece of history. It makes a wonderful display.
