A White Hedgehog vase Chamotte Gunnar Nylund Rörstrand

A white, large Hedgehog-vase designed by Gunnar Nylund at Rörstrand. It is 21 cm (8.4) high and in excellent condition except from some minor marks and cracks from the production.

The vase is marked as the photo shows. Gunnar Nylund is born in Paris but moved to Denmark and started to work at Bing & Gröndahl porcelain factory in Denmark and after that he started Saxbo ceramics in Denmark and worked there for many years.

Gunnar Nylund is represented at a several Swedish and international museums. He is one of the most well know ceramicists in Scandinavia during the 20th century.
