3 Vintage Max Braverman Bonsai Pottery Bowls/Vintage glaze crackle pottery Bowls. Max Braverman began his pottery career in 1971 whenafter a year's worth of night classes in wheel thrown pottery, he left the academic world to become a potter in Taos, NM where he founded Ranchos de Taos Pottery. After five years in Taos he spent ten years in rural New Jersey, labeling his pots as "Delaware Pottery".

During this time, he met Chase Rosade and rekindled a long-held interest in bonsai. This is where this collection is from. It was made between 1976 to 1986. These bowls have the crackle glaze finish, 2 with signatures on back amd one without. Love how you can see the flaws that make them unique cause he hand made all of these himself. Please see all the pictures to see how unique they are.

Bowl #1 approximately 9½" across and 3½" deep with Braverman signed on bottom. Bowl #2 approximately 10" across and 3¼" deep and signed Braverman on bottom. Bowl #3 approximately 7½" across and 2½" deep and has no signature on bottom.
