Rookwood Pottery production spiral design arts & crafts matte grueby green 1905
Here is a very nice early Rookwood Pottery production vase with a faceted spiral design above the shoulder. The deep matte green glaze thins over the decoration highlighting it. It measures 5 1/4 inches high and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just a small glaze miss and some dripping near the bottom. Marks include the RP die-stamped mark, V for 1905, and shape number 915E.
