Large Ceramic Green Pineapple with Lid, Mexican Collectible. The top of the pineapple has one flower. This gorgeous Mexican collectible and ceramic Pineapple with lid was made by the artisan Rafael. Rafael is from a small town of San Jose de Gracia, the state of Michoacan, known for the pineapple ceramic wares.
The Madrigal family is known for award winning ceramic pineapples. They also make bowls, candelabras and more, with the versions done in the famous green glaze. This wonderful pineapple was completely hand made and hand painted by Rafael.
Please note: The pineapple has 2 chips one of the leaves on top of the pineapple which has been glued back together (barely noticeable) and another chip on the bottom leaf. There is also a crack on the rim.
