Here is an unusual and beautiful Laura Andreson studio pottery tall "T-top" bottle vase with a matte brown and tan flambe glaze. Hand thrown and hand built of white porcelain clay. She taught ceramics at the University of Southern California from 1933 to 1970 and was a contemporary of Glen Lukens, Gertrude and Otto Natzler, Beatrice Wood, Edwin & Mary Scheier, and Maija Grotell. This vase measures 10 5/8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs.

It is signed Laura Anreson and dated 1984. An excellent piece of mid-century modern ceramics.
