ART DECO POTTERY DOLPHIN FISH AJ WILKINSON IVAN GOLKOVITCH CLARICE CLIFF. An unusual Art Deco pottery grey glazed model of a doplhin fish produced by AJ Wilkinson. The fish has been signed underglaze "Ivan Golkovitch". I was unable to find out much information regarding him.

He is referenced in The Studio International Volume 110 by the Studio Trust, 1935. Where a carved wood dolphin is mentioned and possibly pictured. Also an online reference found within Sculpture of to-day by Casson, Stanley, 1939. Coloured examples marked Clarice cliff have been produced without the signature.

Marked to base AJ WILKINSON Signed to top of base "Ivan Golkovitch". Measures 8 1/2 22cm long.
