THE CREAM PITCHER IS CLASSIC ALSACE AT ABOUT 2.5 INCHES AND THE BLUE JASPE IS SAVOYARD. THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND NOT POSSIBLE TO FIND. THE PETITE CARAMEL JASPE ON THE THIRD PIECE WHICH IS ROUND AND LOOKS LIKE A POT A CONFITURE IN JASPE AT 4 INCHES WAS ACTUALLY USED AS A SAMPLE OR COULD BE USED IN THE KITCHEN AS A VERY SMALL HONEY POT BUT ACTUALLY, IT WAS A SAMPLE FOR A LARGE POTERIE TO CATCH SNAILS!

THE ANCIENT 4TH PIECE FROM ALSACE HAS A DESIGN THAT ALMOST LOOK LIKE TINY, PRIMITIVE POLKA DOTS BUT THE DESIGN WAS A VERY EARLY DESIGN CALLED MOUCHETTE MADE TO THE BAROLET. THE NEXT PITCHER IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES FROM MY COLLECTION AND IS A MUSEUM PIECE. A VERY PRIMITIVE JASPE PITCHER SAMPLE PITCHER. A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL SMALL 3.5 PITCHER WITH THAT GORGEOUS PRIMITIVE JASPE DESIGN.
